Naga Rum is produced in the north of Java in a very old way. Actually we could also call this Batavia Arak. The alcohol is obtained by fermentation with red rice, just like Sake. This arrack first matures for 3 years in Teak barrels, then 4 years in Ex-bourbon and 1 year in cherry wood barrels.
