Kavalan Selection Single Port Cask is part of the four single malt whiskies from this brand that are bottled exclusively for the Dutch market. Each copy is matured in a different barrel and then filled to barrel strength. This Kavalan whisky is matured in a first-fill port pipe with barrel number 0111125043A and has a circulation of 212 bottles.
The fact that the spirit has matured in ex-port barrels is noticeable in the color, but also especially when this single malt goes into the glass. Rich, lively and aromatic notes of fruit, sweets and spices await you. The aroma combines fruit with nuts, a touch of vanilla and wood. Fruit, chocolate, berries and a fresh bitterness from lemon zest complement each other in the mouth. Sweets and fruit come together in the aftertaste.
