a penetrating scent with clean, fresh sea air full of ozone and seaweed followed by fuller, smoky notes of sweet malt and raisin-like sweetness from the barrel; perfectly combined and balanced.
TASTE
a soft, oily texture, with immediate smokiness and saltiness, but also a sweetness with rich fruit. Soon more peppery as the spiciness of wood becomes more present. Rich nuances of roasted figs and sweet dates complement the ubiquitous flavors of peat smoke and sea salt, and the kick of chili pepper is surprisingly smooth on the swallow.
FINISH
long, powerful and sweet, yet dry, with peaty smokiness and cocoa beans.
