Distillation Process:
Sugar cane is grown on the distillery’s plantations and processed into molasses.
NAGA Thailand Edition rum is distilled 5 times in columns.
The rum is then matured in the distillery, in 200 liter ex-bourbon American oak barrels. To maintain a constant temperature, the cellar is located below ground level.
The part that evaporates is still between 7% and 9% per year.
The barrels are placed in a rack several times and refilled with an equivalent aged rum.
Tasting notes:
This Naga Thailand edition rum, with its long maturation under wood, develops a lush brown sugar nose, complex spicy and woody aromas. On the palate, rum has a smooth and round structure, characteristic of naga rum. Then the spicy flavors appear, supporting elegant notes of candied fruit, vanilla oak and tender blond tobacco leaf.
