Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask matures in three different types of sherry casks; Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez and Moscatel. Each type of cask imparts characteristics to this single malt whisky in its own way and together this ensures that the Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is a wonderful taste sensation. Notes of dried fruit and spices from the Oloroso barrels transition into sweet layers that it obtains precisely from maturing in ex-Pedro Ximénez barrels. The ex-muscatel barrels add a honey-like sweetness to the flavors of this whisky in their own unique way.
