Jura Winter Edition is a tempting single malt whisky that is rich in typical winter flavors and is part of the Cask Editions series. This series focuses on Jura whisky matured in various barrels that give all the unique characteristics to the whisky. The Jura Winter Edition owes its name to a tasty character with layers of sweets and winter herbs. It is known that this single malt whisky is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in ex-sherry casks of European oak.
An aroma of citrus, caramel, raisins and a hint of banana develops in the glass. Rich flavors reminiscent of coffee, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and even a bit of mulled wine alternate in the mouth and give way to a warming, medium-length finish.
