This series focuses on Jura whisky matured in various barrels that give all the unique characteristics to the whisky. The Jura Winter Edition owes its name to a tasty character with layers of sweets and winter herbs. It is known that this single malt whisky is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in ex-sherry casks of European oak.
An aroma of citrus, caramel, raisins and a hint of banana develops in the glass. Rich flavors reminiscent of coffee, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and even a bit of mulled wine alternate in the mouth and give way to a warming, medium-length finish.
