Jura Red Wine Cask Finish is part of the Cask Editions series in which explicit experiments are made with maturing Jura whisky in different wine barrels. This expression owes its name to a further ripening, also called a finish, in ex-red wine barrels. Prior to this, this single malt whisky was first matured in American oak for several years. With the Jura Red Wine Cask Finish, discover how wine influences add a whole new dimension to Jura’s corporate identity.

This whisky has a seductive aroma in which hints of raisins, creamy caramel, dark fruit and heather honey come to the fore. Raspberries, strawberries and creamy notes of vanilla gain more depth through layers of cinnamon that complement this.
