All whiskies used that make up the Green Label whisky mature in American or European oak barrels. In its current composition, this blend offers a lot of complexity and depth, much more than one standalone whisky would. Each of the single malt whiskies that are part of this blend has a distinctive character with unique properties. This left the brand’s Master Blender, Jim Beveridge, with the challenge of creating the perfect balance that expresses the best of each whisky.

The whisky used from Caol Ila gives Johnnie Walker Green Label its characteristic maritime influences. The addition of Linkwood provides a fresh and lively touch, while Cragganmore provides the aroma.
