Havana Club Anejo 7 Year is the oldest produced rum from the house of Havana Club. The rum is known as one of the best rums all over the world. Its unparalleled and acclaimed quality is the fruit of the traditional process by which Havana Club Cuban rum is made. The maturing process of the rum takes place in white oak barrels, in the very old cellars of the brewery. This produces a very nice taste that is nice and smooth to drink. The scents are pleasant and reminiscent of wood and vanilla, as a good rum should smell. The taste is superior after a good meal with, if you smoke, a Havana cigar to start the evening. Havana Club Anejo 7 Year has a beautiful, dazzling transparent amber color. We can guarantee you a top combination! Havana Club is a Cuban rum brand, which is certainly one of the most famous rum brands in the world. Jose Arechabala is the founder of this fantastic rum and founded it in the year 1878, in Santa Cruz del Norte, Cuba. After the great Cuban revolution in 1959, the distillery and company were nationalized by the Cuban government and then the Arechabala family moved to Spain and not long later emigrated to the United States. The large company Bacardi also uses the Havana Club name and recipe for a number of types of its rum. Bacardi has the right to use this name and recipe as they purchased it from the Arechabala family, who were the original owners of Havana Club before the government of Cuba. The Havana club brand is distributed outside Cuba through the ‘Pernod Ricard’ group (Pernod Ricard, a French company that produces spirits). Unfortunately, due to a trade embargo, this rum is not sold in the United States. It might also be nice to know that all Cuban products, such as cigars and this rum, bear an official seal of origin. This label is considered a guarantee of authenticity and quality of the products.
