Nose:
The nose starts off with lots of citrus aromas like lemon citrus , orange peel. Also in the background notes of honey, vanilla and light oak. Hints of floral and chocolate.
-
Palate:
Same flavors on the palate as on the nose. Lots of citrus influence. It tastes fresh and light. Hints of ginger and cinnamon with soft and delicate oak, vanilla and honey.
-
Finish:
Medium finish with sweet notes of vanilla, citrus and honey. In the background some malty notes and oak.
-
Conclusion:
The first in the 1824 series by the Macallan. This expression is very fresh, young but tastes thin. Lots of citrus, honey and vanilla notes are noticeable on the nose and on the palate. A lovely NAS expression by the Macallan.
