Full bodied with layers of complexity. Starts of with sweetness, honey vanilla and butterscotch. citrus and tropical fruits like pineapple and apricots with orange peels. Balanced chocolate and coffee, leather and spices and oak bitterness. At the end a whiff of smoke is noticeable.
-
Finish:
A long complex, dry but warming finish with lingering grainy and sweet flavors. balanced oak spices with a hint of cinnamon and chocolate.

Conclusion:
One of the most complex and full bodied Japanese blends I've ever tasted. The expensive price keeps me from having an open bottle in my cabinet. I was lucky to try this beautiful Japanse blend. This is definitely a memorable Japanese blend by Suntory, Hibiki.
