Taste note
-
Colour:
Deep amber
-
Nose:
Very perfume nose with different kind of potpourri, Deeper in cooked fruits, plums, blackberry, tropical fruits like ripe banana and sweet molten caramel. Some white chocolate and sandalwood and oak.
-
Palate:
Very floral and does have some complexity with flavors of sandalwood, honeycomb, vanilla, white chocolate, dried apricot and a wisp of smoke and some Mizunara (Japanese oak) bitterness.
-
Finish:
Long, rich but dry and a bitter aftertaste with incense and smoke aroma and acetone notes.
-
Conclusion:
A enjoyable Hibiki with lots of everything. But unfortunately for the price its doesn't give you the complexity you would expect from a 21 year old.
