Rich forest fruits, sweet aromatic woodsmoke, antique oak, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla pods, herbal and leafy notes, treacle toffee.

Black cherries, plum jam, dark chocolate orange, almond and custard pastry, ginger sponge with hints of cloves, sweet woodsmoke and hints of loose tea leaves.

Long & complex, with a sweet, lingering smokiness.

The second in a serie of the tales of The Macallan. This remarkable single malt was carefully crafted by The Macallan Lead Whisky Maker, Euan Kennedy. Distilled in 1949 and bottled in 2022, this rare expression, with beautiful tones of bronzed oak and subtle reds, captures the spirit of Alexander Reid.
