Nikka From The Barrel is a blended whisky from Japan that is composed by the whiskey makers from a mix of malt and grain whiskies from, among others, the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. The whiskies used mature in a wide variety of barrels, including bourbon and sherry barrels. The end result is a characterful and well-balanced Japanese whisky that contains 51.4% alcohol. Nikka From The Barrel is worth a discovery for the whisky lover.
Aromas of fruit, herbs and subtle notes of oak form a harmonious whole on the nose. The flavors are rich and warming; various spices, toffee, caramel, vanilla and fruit. The aftertaste is also warming and long lasting. You will encounter fruity notes, hints of wood and herbs.
