Nose:
Sweet honey with vanilla and grilled dark cherries, with BBQ developing alongside earthy malt and smoke. In the back more aromas of dark chocolate, raisins and ripe oranges.
-
Palate:
Sweet and creamy rum-soaked raisins with honey, vanilla, peppercorn spices, ripe dark cherries with stewed red forrest berries. In the back some toasted wood with almonds. Rounding it up with peat smoke. Giving it lots of dept and complexity.
-
Finish:
Medium long finish with flamed orange peel, ripe cherries with dry smoke and lingering sweet maple syrup.
-
Conclusion:
A single malt whisky that gives everything you need for a great whisky experience. With strong peat smoke and lots of sherry influence. Dept and complexity and great memorable finish.
