Colour:
Gold
-
Nose:
Tropical, fresh and summery aromas with ripe pineapple, vanilla fudge and coconut
-
Palate:
Rich fruity notes of peaches in syrup, poached pears and soft caramel. Nutty with spiciness of cloves and cinnamon powder
-
Finish:
An exceptionally long, sweet and smooth finish
-
Conclusion:
Illicit Still doesn’t break the Glenlivet mold, but the higher proof does allow it to express the best of Glenlivet’s DNA more aggressively and fully. Solid stuff.
