Taste note

  • Colour:

    Deep copper

  • Nose:

    Sweet red berries, Seville oranges, plummy fruits and sticky toffee pudding, clove-studded orange, rich raspberry and prune, a touch of sponge cake.

  • Palate:

    Full and rich mouthfeel with flavors of nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts, Java coffee and chocolatey. Waves of dried fruit and stem ginger notes appear. A touch of earthy bitterness develops later on, balanced by runny honey.

  • Finish:

    Long with rich plums, sultanas, blood oranges and macerated cherries. Hints of roast chestnuts, gingerbread and tobacco.

  • Conclusion:

    If you love port you will appreciate this expression from Dalmore. Its a quality and beautiful single malt whisky by Dalmore. it gives you what you ask for and more. I really enjoyed this one and will definitely buy this more often.
