Distilled 14th January 1949 in Spanish oak sherry casks and released into this elegant hand made Caithness decanter in August 1999 as a 50 year old to celebrate the new millennium.
The decanter is housed in an oak presentation box and features a copper ingot cast, from the No. 9 spirit still from The Macallan distillery. More importantly this increasingly scarce 50 year old malt is rated highly by Michael Jackson, the late whisky connoisseur/author.
